Gustave Roussy Education
In partnership with Paris-Saclay University, Gustave Roussy Éducation is the Institute’s division dedicated to initial, continuing, and international education. It embodies Gustave Roussy’s commitment to sharing his expertise in oncology with all generations of healthcare professionals, both in France and abroad.
Overview
Gustave Roussy Éducation oversees initial and continuing education in the fields of healthcare and the sciences.
Each year, Gustave Roussy Education trains several thousand students, residents, researchers, and healthcare professionals, thereby contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and the advancement of practices in oncology.
Through an innovative educational program that combines in-person, distance learning, and simulation, Gustave Roussy Education supports healthcare providers, researchers, residents, and students in acquiring high-level skills that are closely aligned with the latest scientific and clinical advances.

The Doctoral School of Oncology: Biology, Medicine, Health No. 582
This Doctoral School focuses on a single subject area, covering all aspects of oncology and organized around four main areas of research:
- Fundamental aspects of oncology
- Genetics and epidemiology
- Pharmacology and new therapeutic approaches
- New methods of biological and clinical investigation (including imaging)
Apprenticeship Tax
The apprenticeship tax, which is payable by businesses, is intended to help fund the expenses necessary for the development of technical and vocational training programs.
Gustave Roussy Education is authorized to collect the 13% portion of the apprenticeship tax (also known as the “balance” or “outside-the-quota” portion) through the Paris-Saclay University School of Medicine.
