Welcome to the new Gustave Roussy website
A new website designed to offer you a simpler, clearer, and more intuitive experience. Patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and donors: find information, news, and services more easily.
Our Highlights of Solidarity
Throughout the year, Gustave Roussy invites you to join major national initiatives to support research and improve patient care. Gustave Roussy’s key solidarity events bring together people who want to take concrete action for a common cause: advancing cancer research.
February
The month of February features two major observances: World Cancer Day on February 4 and World Childhood Cancer Day on February 15.
To mark these occasions, Gustave Roussy is launching its World Cancer Days campaign to support researchers who are developing the medical innovations of tomorrow. Every donation helps accelerate discoveries and offer new hope to patients.
World Cancer Days
March
With nearly 47,500 new cases and nearly 17,000 deaths each year in France, colorectal cancer remains one of the most common cancers. However, when detected early, it can be cured in 9 out of 10 cases.
During Blue March, join the effort to advance research on colon cancer.

May
In the fight against cancer, every step forward counts. So does every act of solidarity.
In May, Gustave Roussy is partnering with TF1 to spread a message of hope and commitment. Researchers, healthcare providers, patients, and public figures are coming together to share a common truth: today’s progress is the result of research conducted yesterday.
By supporting the Cancer Mobilization, you’re helping to bring about the innovations that will change patients’ lives tomorrow.
Cancer Mobilization: Stronger Together Against Cancer
June
Every year in France, nearly 6,400 cases of cancer are linked to human papillomavirus (HPV). Yet a large proportion of these cancers could be prevented through prevention and screening.
To mark Green June, Gustave Roussy is taking action to advance research on gynecological cancers and strengthen prevention efforts. Together, let’s give everyone the best chance to avoid or overcome the disease.
Green June
September
Every year in France, nearly 2,500 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer. While advances in research have led to significant improvements in treatment, cancer remains the leading cause of disease-related death among children.
During “Septembre en Or,” join the effort to support pediatric cancer research and give today’s children access to the innovative treatments of tomorrow.
Golden September
October
Every year in France, nearly 61,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. While advances in research have significantly improved the chances of recovery, some patients still face relapses, treatment side effects, and the invisible consequences of the disease.
Through its “Tout n’est pas rose” campaign, Gustave Roussy supports increasingly personalized research to better understand the disease, more accurately predict the risk of relapse, and offer treatments tailored to each patient’s profile.
Pink October – It's Not All Roses
November
Every year in France, nearly 80,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer, one of the most common cancers among men. While advances in research have led to improvements in diagnosis and treatment, many challenges remain in developing approaches that are even earlier, more precise, and less burdensome.
During this month of awareness dedicated to men’s cancers, take action to support research and help develop increasingly innovative treatments that benefit patients.
