Strategic Plan 2030: A Massive Investment Plan

To transform Gustave Roussy into a “smart hospital” and the European hub for oncology, addressing the organizational and structural challenges associated with redesigned care pathways within a high-performance ecosystem, while restoring meaning to our professions.

Plan stratégique couverture

Adapting the facility to its day-to-day realities and to needs in line with 21st-century society requires reimagining Gustave Roussy to make it a unique place where working and receiving care are a privilege.

Digitalization will enable the creation of an outpatient complex 3.0, including a day hospital and a cancer drug production unit, across an expanded area. This transformation will optimize workflows and patient pathways while further enhancing the safety of care.

More flexible and focused on collaborative and agile management, Gustave Roussy’s new organizational structure is redefining its appeal as an employer. With more time at their disposal, healthcare providers are refocusing on the human element within work environments that foster talent development.

A Massive Investment Plan to Accelerate High Performance

In line with the ambitions of this strategic plan, resources include major financial, real estate, equipment, and human investments designed to accelerate the performance of Gustave Roussy 3.0.

With improved accessibility thanks to the upcoming metro line, the 3.0 site—bolstered by new facilities—is rethinking its development model and fostering strategic national and global partnerships to spread its disruptive models.

Benefiting from strong support from the government, among others, these needs also require a tenfold increase in philanthropy. Major patrons and donors represent the greatest asset of this plan and will help make it a reality. We hope to see them joined by new actors from civil society.
